Imperfections

The Sunflower is the most tedious and laborious microgreen to grow and harvest.  Dependent on the quality of the seeds from the producers in which it has their own difficulties as nature intended.
The pictures show some imperfections on the cotyledon leaves of sunflower.  These are not dirt and they will not affect the taste and nutrient content of the microgreens.  Most of them are from the lining of the seed hulls that are stubbornly sticking on the leaves instead of just falling off.  Stubborn seed hulls cause bruising and dark spots too.  And during the harvest process,  the imperfect leaves are mostly discarded.
I hope the imperfections will not affect the way you like these deliciously healthy, and mighty microgreens.
